'''Ritsuka''' is the one of the main protagonists in the [[anime]] Loveless. In the world of Loveless everybody is born with cat-ears and a tail that only go away once that person has had sex or "become an adult." People without their ears are often referred to as "Adults" or "Growing up", however there are clear cases of Adults who still have their ears and tail.

== Everyday Life ==

Although Ritsuka was born on December 21st he was named after the Luna day "Rikka" which happens around March 5th. Two years prior, Ritsuka had a sudden case of amnesia and changed his personality completely. He was an average student with many friends, but changed to be an outstanding student that prefers to be alone and isolated.

Because of his memory loss, Ritsuka's mother has taken to abusing Ritsuka claiming that he is not her real son. The only protection from this was when Ritsuka's brother, Seimei, would come in and stop the abuse from taking place. Because he was the only one who protected him, Ritsuka was deeply affected when his brother was found murdered, although it is later revealed that he had faked his own death to get out of being executed by Septial Moon.

== Soubi ==

Soubi Agatsuma is a twenty year old college art student and a former student of Shichisei Gakuen where he was taught to be a Spell fighter. Although he was originally Seimei's fighter, when he "died" he ordered Soubi to become Ritsuka's and obey his every order. Soubi obeyed the order and hooked himself on to Ritsuka's life, introducing him to the world of fighters and sacrifices.

During his first encounter with Ritsuka, Soubi promises not to "try anything" but soon goes back on his word and forces a kiss on Ritsuka. He often says "I love you" to Ritsuka until he is ordered to stop. He also constantly asks Ritsuka to punish him even though he claims not be a masachist. Because of these character traits, Soubi is considered contradictory and complex.
