Tomoyo in the anime is the best friend of [[Sakura]] and becomes simply infatuated with video taping her in action.  It is not verified or confirmed directly true but there is a lot of instances where the viewers can easily begin to think Tomoyo has a romantic crush on [[Sakura]] and be it for comic relief or serious, there is no denying that Tomoyo enjoys herself a LOT when she is with [[Sakura]].  All throughout the show it is found that Tomoyo gives [[Sakura]] various costumes to wear when capturing the Clow Cards she is to recapture since at the beginning of the show she accidentally freed them all but one which was the Windy Card.  And no matter what the situation is, Tomoyo seems to always be at [[Sakura]]'s side through everything that happens.
