Difference between revisions of "Complex City"

Complex City is a [[Lolikon|lolikon]] trading card game being created on [[LAH]] by a few members.  Principle work is being done by '''Electricus''', with '''TheThorn''' and '''Foton''' considered co-creators, although a number of members have made suggestions.  There is also a detailed backstory and a number of roleplaying games based on the theme.

In a world much like out own technology has proceeded at a much more rapid pace due in no small part to demonic interference.  While on the surface the world appears to be a relatively bright and peaceful place, there exists a much darker underbelly.  The major forces of the world are controlled by shadowy groups ultimately headed by a single person. What no-one  knows is that person is known as a '''Lieutenant''', and they all serve a leader known soley as the '''Prince Regent'''.  This person secretly controls the entire world in secret, from an island in the North Sea.  The '''Island''' seems like a scientific and engineering mecca, with all but a few of the greatest scientific achievements occuring or connected to this place.

The society of this world is also a much different place, with genetic and cybernetic alterations being quite common.  It is not unusual to see an 'elf' sharing a meal with a [[Kemono|cat-girl]] or a person with an artificial arm (although to be officially classified as a '''Cyborg''', a person must have more than 40% body mass or at least one major extremity composed of artificial parts).  There are two unofficial social groups on the Island as well, those of the ''''Youngsters'''' and the '''Demons'''.  The '''Youngsters''' are gangs who control the majority of crime and have divided the '''City''' into four territories.  The leaders of each gang are also '''Lieutenents''', but their position is shaky.  The last group is largely unseen by the majority of the people - the '''Demons'''.  They have been present in the '''City''' since the beginning and there are rumors that a '''Demon''' was one of the '''Founders'''.

The gameplay is still currently under revision, but at present resembles other TCGs such as ''Yu-Gi-Oh!'' or ''Pokemon''.  The game is played between 2 and 6 people, each with their own, self-made deck.  The players take the role of an unnamed resident of the City as a position opens up in the '''Regent's Council''' - the highest position of power attainable in this world.  The '''Prince Regent''' has let it be known that they will accept any person who can maintain their own group and capture seven [[Lolikon|Loli's]] or [[Shotakon|Shota's]] and keep hold of them.  The Player has seven '''Seducer''' cards (representing their gang) and seven '''Chara''' cards (representing loli's and shota's roaming the streets).  The players must both capture their opponents Charas and maintain their gang.   

To capture a Chara, a player must work to 'wear down' a Charas Resitance score or increase thier own Enticement.  When they believe they have built up a good enough hand, they declare a Seduction Attempt and switch to their Seduction Deck, a seperate, smaller deck which plays out like a game of Scissors-Paper-Stone.  If the Seducer is successful the Chara is added to thier Harem.  If the Chara wins, the Seducer is removed from the field.
