Talk:List of animes and manga with loli characters

There's no reason to have a dozen Tenchi Muyo! derivative works under "T". OVAs and movies and second seasons and manga editions don't warrant their own places. One item should cover the universe. --Louslet 19:24, 9 October 2007 (PDT)

I'll let you and Elec discuss the Tenchi thing, however if a series is known by two names, they should both be listed. --feather 23:15, 9 October 2007 (PDT)
Redirects can handle multiple names, if people search for them. People browsing lists are looking for new series, and placing the same name twice ("Magical Teacher", "Mahou Sensei") makes as much sense as me putting "Denno Coil" and "Dennou Coil" and "Dennō Coil" and "Denno Koiru" and "A Circle of Children" and "Computer Coil" and "Electric Brain Coil" so that no one feels left out. --Louslet 05:30, 10 October 2007 (PDT)
>.> No, the list exists to contain information; if the information isn't there, it isn't available. Since anime are commonly known by two titles (a transliteration of it's japanese title as well as the english release title, they need to be listed. There's no reason to link them, either. --feather 11:30, 10 October 2007 (PDT)
The first edit war of the LAH wiki. Somehow I feel like cracking out champagne.
Usually I defer on issues such as these, even big ones. Excessive article switching prevents growth. In this case, I'm adamant that the old article system was moronic. Lists that list the same thing multiple times are useless and unnavigable. Even a SeriesMainName (Alt Name) setup would be better than the original system. --Louslet 17:06, 10 October 2007 (PDT)
Then do that. Just so long as they're in there. --feather 17:46, 10 October 2007 (PDT)
Appreciated. --Louslet 19:50, 10 October 2007 (PDT)

One thing you should know before making changes - the various Tenchi works are seperate series in their own rights, and while the main cast is re-used, their characters change drasticaly between each one. I'll agree that movies derived from a particular series, or manga versions of the series shouldn't have their own entry, but a distinctly different series should. - Electricus

After researching the Tenchi Muyo series a bit more, that seems about right. Thank you for correcting me. --Louslet 07:41, 11 October 2007 (PDT)
Always trust Elec to know his Tenchi. ;P --feather 10:38, 11 October 2007 (PDT)

Although nothing else. - Elec.
